The most tender beige varnish and white crescent on the tip of the nail – French manicure makes you irresistible and tidy. This type of legendary type of manicure came to us not from Europe, but from the USA.
Originally from cinema
The history of the jacket begins in the late seventies of the 20th century, when for filming in Hollywood a special concept for applying varnish on nails was developed. This merit lies with Jefe Pink – the founder of ORLY. The unique manicure looked as natural as possible, because the stylists spent several times less time to care for the nails of actresses. Kusachki for cuticles, saws and varnish – that’s the whole secret of the perfect nails of a movie hero. And why such a manicure is called french, we will tell in the continuation of the article.
Naturalness is always in fashion
This pseudo -French trend has received a tremendous response in the world of fashion among the public, because now French manicure is considered one of the most common types of nail design. The reason for this popularity was primarily that this manicure is solely suitable for any outfit.
Secular luxury at home
Now cosmetic companies massively produce not only nail polishes in natural beige and peach tones, but also full -fledged sets for French manicure. In addition to beige and white varnish, there are special stickers for each finger. They allow you to paint your nails, like a ruler, and get a wonderful smooth bend in the form of a crescent.
5 steps to the perfect French manicure
To do this, you will need a set for French manicure (beige and white varnish, a transparent varnish-cover, biting pieces, nail files)
1. We prepare the nails
Before applying the varnish, it is necessary to cut the cuticle and burrs, after softening them with a chamomile bath, and also give the nails the shape.
2. We apply beige varnish
Gently apply beige varnish to the nail plate and let it dry.
3. We glue the strips
Stick white stripes on painted dried nails, leaving 3-5 mm (depending on the length of the nail) of the free space at the ends of the nails.
4. We apply white varnish
Free space over the nails on the nail carefully stain with white varnish. Let the varnish dry and then remove the plates.
5. Cover the nails with transparent varnish
After white and beige varnish has dried, cover the nails with a layer of transparent varnish – so the manicure will last longer.
It is worth noting that for a more simplified French manicure you can bend the cuticle by softening it, and do not use the bites for the cuticle. Also, you can skip paragraph 2 and apply white varnish to an unpainted nail plate. And a little more story.
Why still "French"?
The thing is that this type of manicure was originally called Natural Look and was used in the future at the mods of the mod in Paris. And now, once, having returned from Europe to the USA, its creator Jeff Pink thought that the current name was too simple for such a chic idea and name his brainchild “French Manicure”.
