In the event that the plastic surgery for correction of the face or figure does not resort to artificial fillers, but uses exclusively the fat fiber of the operated one, is called lipofiling. There are other variants of this name – lipolifting, lipomolation, liposculptura or fatraph. The essence is the same: fat is removed from one part of the body and is injected to another. Such operations began to be done more than a hundred years ago! Only at the beginning the usual syringe was used for this, and now this is a special cannula that cannot cause injury to vessels or nerves. The usual place of borrowing fat is hips, buttocks or stomach.
An important observation was that fat should not become amorphous, the structure of the cells should be completely preserved so that the tissue takes root in a new place. Thanks to the new technology, the pressure when the fat is minimal, and it does not contact the air at all. This guarantees the effectiveness of this method of plastic correction.
