Santa Claus has already set off on his traditional Christmas journey, because he needs to visit all corners of the world.
So, in Venice, locals and tourists enjoyed a rare spectacle – a Christmas regatta. Dozens of gondolas with Santa rowers sailed along the Grand Canal.
And in Greek Thessaloniki, athletes put on red Santa Claus suits. They stood on SUP boards and sailed along the embankment.
Santa did not forget to drop in on the Spanish city of Paiporta, which suffered from a catastrophic flood in October. A holiday with a Christmas tree and gifts was organized for children. And the military helped Santa distribute household appliances to adults.
Having flown over the ocean, Santa Claus moved from Europe to America. Near the Florida Keys in the USA, he decided to go scuba diving and visit the sea creatures. These waters belong to the National Marine Sanctuary, which has been protecting coral reefs for over 30 years.
In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Santa dived into the water again, but this time into a giant aquarium, home to almost 2,000 fish, including sharks and rays.
After Rio, Santa went to the Brazilian state of Amazonas. There, he had to take a boat to a remote settlement that has almost no connection with civilization. Santa’s appearance and gifts became a real holiday for local children.
This is already Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here, Santa Claus got on a motorcycle and led a procession of 100 bikers. The motorcyclists rode throughout the city and visited children in hospitals.
