Christmas is coming, and Santa Claus is distributing Christmas trees in Jerusalem. In fact, the trees are offered free of charge by the city authorities.
This is an annual tradition. And Santa comes to help and at the same time lift people’s spirits. By the way, he has already prepared a Christmas wish.
After distributing the trees, Santa walked around the Old City to create a Christmas atmosphere around. The role of Santa is played by former basketball player Issa Kassisi. He is the only certified Santa Claus in Israel. The man has been trained twice in the United States. Now he knows how to bake Christmas cookies, make toys and say “ho-ho-ho” correctly.
Issa has been dressing up as Santa during the Christmas season for almost 20 years to please children and adults. For him, it has become a favorite pastime.
